HOTEL REVIEW: VILLA FLORENCE

Hotell Villa Florence is located on Union Square in San Francisco. Great service, absolutely brilliant food at the hotel restaurant Kuleto's and large and cozy rooms with comfortable beds.

If you plan to go to San Francisco on business or vacation I recommend you look into the Villa Florence, a relatively inexpensive hotel which is located close to Union Square and only a few blocks from the famous Theater District. This quaint  hotel was recently updated and the rooms are cozy and decent size for an older San Francisco hotel. The staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable and does everything they can to make the guests happy.  The hotel also has a business center and a fitness room which neither of us had time to use unfortunately.

Adjacent to the hotel is Kuletos, a great Italian restaurant where guests can enjoy breakfast, lunch, and dinner. We took fully advantage of that and had breakfast there twice and dinner there everyday. Yes, we should probably ventured out to other restaurants, but we loved the place and were always exhausted when coming back from meetings all day we figured why complicate things :).

There is also a cappuccino bar in the inviting and nicely decorated lobby that is a good with  excellent croissants and muffins that we brought with us in the car as we drove down to Silicon Valley every morning.  The trolley stops right outside which made it possible for Nils and I to take it for a quick ride Thursday morning before a breakfast meeting at the hotel. We truly enjoyed our stay at this Villa Florence and would definitely come back, great value for your money!

We paid:     $ 119 per night (special offer)
